The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library can be accessed through both your Xbox console and PCs. It also includes an EA Play Membership and the ability to play games through the cloud on mobile devices.

After your first month is over, your subscription will renew at a monthly cost of £10.99/$14.99, or £7.99/$9.99 per month if you've chosen a standard Game Pass subscription.

Xbox Series X/S controllers are difficult to find below their RRP (£54.99/$59.99), but you can grab them for slightly less right now thanks to some limited-time promotions and discount codes.

Best SSD, HDD and Xbox accessories deals

There's a couple of vital accessories that no Xbox One or Series X/S owner should be without.

If you've got an Xbox Game Pass subscription or you're planning on getting one, all of the games you're downloading will end up eating through your console's storage space pretty quickly

As soon as you run out of space, you'll have to delete games and re-download them every time you want to play them again. If you end up doing this often, it'll waste a lot of your time, but you can pick up a memory drive instead so you only have to move games to and from your console rather than redownloading them every time.

You've got a couple of different options open to you when it comes to upgrading your console's memory. External SSDs and HDDs are the cheapest optioin, but they can only be used to play backwards-compatiable last-gen titles direct from the drive. All of the latest Xbox Series X/S titles will need moving onto the console from the drive.

Another option is to upgrade your console's internal storage. At the time of writing, the only way to do this is by purchasing the Seagate Xbox Memory Expansion Card – there's no option of using SSDs with a heatsink like the PS5.

The Seagate Memory Expansion Card is available in two different sizes at the moment, 512GB and 1TB, with a 2TB landing soon. These are pretty pricey, but the 1TB is on offer right now.

We'd also recommend grabbing a decent gaming headset for your Xbox to make use of the spatial audio settings available through the Xbox Series X/S, especially if you don't have a TV that supports it through Dolby Atmos.
